Modern finnish sauna department

The renovation of this sauna department for an apartment building located in Helsinki was designed by architect office Fyra. The renovation was designed to meet the needs and design of this time.

The dressing room got bigger and the result is marvellous. Modern white and bright tones twisted with some wooden details in the back wall as well as in the bench and floor.

The sauna itself defines it as today's finnish sauna design. Simple, elegant and totally comfortable yet not forgetting the basic elements and guidelines of the sauna culture in Finland.

The bathing room looks great. Very small black tiles in the floor against the grey toned ceiling with a total contrast of big solid white tiles on the walls. To finish this all there's a couple of wooden benches, as always needed in any bathroom. Check out for more at Fyra website.
